Repair / Condition Report

This unit was used at a U.S. Federal Rehab site and was meticulously maintained. To give you an idea, operator was not even allowed to eat or smoke in the cab.

This is a real nice tractor that has had an easy life.

Complete NEW Cat undercarriage was installed by the U.S. Federal Government at the conclusion of the rehab project at 6834 hours.

Oil samples were also taken at that time and all were clean.

Upon arrival to our yard this unit was inspected and serviced in our shops:

  • Engine oil filter was checked for contaminates and it was clean.
  • Transmission and hydraulic filters were also checked and were clean.
  • Both final drives were checked and both were clean but oil level was low on the left side.
  • Found left inner axle seal to be leaking so we replaced it with a NEW seal.
  • Low and high idle speeds were checked and adjusted.
  • Torque converter stall speed was checked and is within Caterpillar Specifications.
  • We replaced the fan motor as it was not operational.
  • No further repairs are required.

This is as clean a tractor as you will find!!!
