 This machine was previously owned by a municipality that closed their landfill.

Unit was well maintained, runs and operates very well and overall is in good straight condition.

This compactor has been thoroughly inspected for any needed repairs. 

  During our inspection we found the power train to be in very good condition as well as the following: 

- Engine ran clean and smooth without excess smoke and had minimal blow by.

- Engine oil filter was disassembled, inspected and found clean.

- The cooling system functions properly and radiator and coolers were clean. Water pump was leaking.

- Transmission and torque converter filters were clean and there was no slippage under load.

- Checked transmission pressures and found to be within Caterpillar specifications.

- Transfer case oil was clean.

- Replaced transfer case front output shaft seal and bearing.

- Differential and final drive oil levels were at the proper levels and the oils were free of contaminates.

- Rear axle oscillation is tight and in good condition.

- Articulation pins and bearings are tight.

- Steering pins and bushings are tight. Cylinder seals were dry.

- Replaced cab mounting pins and rubber.

- Replaced fan belts and A/C belts.

- REBUILT seat.

- REBUILT parking brake.

- Replaced all brake lines.

- Replaced water pump.

- Resealed blade lift cylinder.

- Replaced blade cylinder trunnion bearings.

- Repaired shifter linkage.

- Checked and repaired electrical system and lights as needed.

- Replaced blade control cable.

- Repaired steps, ladders and grab handles.

- Completed any needed sheet metal repairs.

- Complete machine has been sandblasted, primed, painted and detailed.
