Repair / Condition Report
This compactor was maintained since NEW under a Caterpillar Dealer Maintenance Program until 15144 hours.
The following repairs were completed by Marcel Equipment Limited at 15144 hours:
Machine was completely serviced and thoroughly inspected for all needed repairs.
All filters including engine, transmission and hydraulic filters were all cut open and checked for any signs of contamination.
The engine filter and hydraulic filter were clean.
Transmission filter and screen was contaminated with clutch and seal material and will be REBUILT.
Both differentials and all four planataries were also checked. The oils were all clean and the levels were good.
High and low idle speeds were checked and adjusted to be within Caterpillar specifications.
Checked stall speeds and they were found to be within Caterpillar specifications.
- Resealed and rebearinged torque converter.
- Resealed and rebearinged the transmission.
- Resealed and rebearinged the transfer case.
- Installed all NEW radiator cores.
- Repaired all small leaks.
- Checked and repaired all grease lines.
- Installed NEW steering cylinder pins and bearings.
- Installed NEW blade lift cylinder yoke bearings.
- Installed NEW batteries.
- Installed REBUILT alternator.
- REBUILT parking brake assembly.
- Installed NEW transmission temperature sending unit.
- Installed rear transfer case output seal.
- Installed NEW mid drive shaft.
- Checked accumulator pressure - 800 PSI.
- Complete machine was sandblasted, primed, painted and detailed.
At 14132 hours - The Caterpillar dealer completed the following repairs and $40,697.00 was spent:
- REBUILT rear axle assembly including planataries.
- REBUILT rear axle oscillation.
- Replaced U joints.
- REBUILT radiator.
- Replaced air conditioner compressor.
- Replaced alternator.
- Replaced belly pan actuators and all hydraulic lines.
- Checked unit over from front to rear and completed any necessary repairs.
- All documents are available.
