Repair / Condition Report

This unit was mainly maintained by the servicing Caterpillar dealer.

They completed the majority of the repairs as well as all of the 1000/2000 hour services throughout.

The transmission was REBUILT by the Caterpillar dealer at 8900 hours and included the installation of NEW radiator cores, a fan motor and pump as well as an implement pump.

Upon purchase inspection, we completed the following:

All covers and guards were removed and this machine was then powerwashed.

We changed the engine oil and cut open the oil filter to check for contaminates, it was clean.

Transmission and hydraulic filters were also clean.

We checked both differentials and planetary oils for any signs of wear or steel particles. They were clean.

We checked the center articulation and it was good.

We checked the rear axle oscillation and it was good.

Checked the accumulator charge pressure and verified to Caterpillar specifications.

Checked and verified that the transmission, torque converter, hydraulic and engine pressures are to Caterpillar specifications.

Following are the repairs completed by Marcel Equipment Limited:

Replaced any required hoses, lines or tubes.

Replaced any required grease lines.

Changed the a/c and alternator belts.

REBUILT the seat assembly.

Repaired the steering column.

Changed the steering valves.

REBUILT the parking brake assembly with NEW shoes.

Installed NEW pins and bushings in the rod end of the steering cylinders.

REBUILT the blade cylinder mount and yoke assembly.

Resealed the starter.

Resealed the fuel-ratio control.

Serviced and cleaned the complete HVAC system.

Removed and cleaned the evaporator and blower assembly.

Serviced and repaired the electrical panel.

Verified that all lights and switches are operational.

Greased machine.

Installed four NEW batteries.

Serviced the battery connections.

Unit is scheduled to have cosmetic work completed shortly.

Unit will then be sandblasted and painted. New photos will be posted upon completion.
