Repair / Condition Report

 

Upon arrival to our yard all guards and covers were removed and this compactor was completely cleaned.
- It was then thoroughly inspected for needed repairs and was completely serviced.
- Engine oil filter was removed and cut open to check for signs of metal, etc. It was clean.
- The same was done for the transmission and hydraulic filters and they were also clean.
- Both differential oil levels were at the proper levels and both were checked. Oils were clean.
- Engine high idle speed was checked and is within Caterpillar specifications.
- Torque converter stall speed was also checked and is also within Caterpillar specifications.
Following is a list of repairs completed by Marcel Equipment Limited at 11545 hours:
- Engine oil pan gasket was leaking a bit and the rear axle assembly was removed to facilitate removal of the oil pan. While the oil pan was off we took the opportunity to roll standard Cat main, rod and thrust bearings.

- Engine oil pump was also removed and inspected.

- Installed NEW articulation hitch plate.

- Installed NEW lift cylinder mount bearings.

- Adjusted parking brake assembly.

- Checked rear axle oscillation and it was good.

- Checked articulation system and it was good.

- Checked all grease fittings and grease lines.

- Installed NEW rear differential pinion seal.

- All needed repairs and adjustments have been completed.

- This unit has been sandblasted, primed, painted and detailed.

This unit was very well maintained.
