Upon arrival to our yard we removed the guards and covers and powerwashed and inspected this unit.

All filters were removed, cut open and checked for any signs of contaminates. All were clean.

Both differentials and all four wheel planatary oil levels were good.

All components were checked and all were clean.

Note that at 3488 hours, the following major components were REBUILT by the Caterpillar dealer under insurance coverage because of an engine compartment fire:

- Engine was overhauled.

- Rebearinged and resealed transmission and torque converter.

- Rebearinged and resealed rear axle housing.

Following are the maintenance and repair details completed by Marcel Equipment Limited at 9491 hours:

- Installed a NEW radio.

- Repaired parking brake cable.

- Checked all gauges.

- Repaired front wiper and windshield wiper pump.

- Checked centre articulation.

- Checked rear axle oscillation.

- Checked all grease lines.

- Resealed blade lift cylinder.

- Checked air conditioning for proper operation.

- Fire suppression system was checked and certified.

- NEW rear differential pinion seal was installed.

- NEW rear drive shaft universal joints were installed.

- Installed four NEW batteries.

- Checked accumulator pressures.

- NEW seal was installed and adjusted on the parking brake.

- Line bored blade mount and installed NEW pins and bearings.

This unit is out on a short term rental has worked flawlessly.
