Repair / Condition Report

 

Following are the repairs completed by Marcel Equipment Limited at 15936 hours:
- All filters were removed, cut open and checked closely for signs of contaminates.  

- Transmission filter was clean and so was the strainer.

- Hydraulic filter was clean.

- Both final drive levels were good and oils were clean.

- Engine had excessive blowby - please see below:

 


Engine Rebuild: 

 

- Cylinder head was rebuilt.

- Fuel injectors were checked.

- 6 NEW CAT standard main bearings were installed.

- All NEW CAT standard rod bearings were installed.

- NEW OR CAT engine oil pump was installed.

- NEW CAT thrust washers were installed.

- Installed NEW front and rear crankshaft seals.


- NEW heater hoses were installed.

- NEW batteries were installed.

- Installed NEW pins and bushings in front nose.

- Installed REBUILT starter motor.

- Welded a NEW face on the moleboard.

- Installed NEW pins and bearings on the blade assembly.

- Checked air conditioning system.

- Checked all lights, wipers and heater.

- All NEW fan, alternator and air conditioning belts installed.

- Checked the fire suppression system.

- All miscellaneous items needing attention were completed.


Following is a summary of repairs completed by the local Caterpillar dealer:
 

In March 2008 at 15936 hours:

- Two NEW batteries and a NEW master switch was installed.


In August 2007 at 15372 hours:  

- REBUILT left brake system using NEW piston and seals.


In July 2007 at 15372 hours:

- Caterpillar reman lift cylinder installed on the left side.


In November 2006 at 13986 hours:  

- NEW bearings and seals installed in the fan hub.


In November 2006 at 13879 hours:  

- NEW turbo charger was installed.


In November 2006 at 13735 hours:

- Rebearinged and resealed final drive.


In July 2006 at 12876 hours:  

- REBUILT and resealed both track frame recoil assemblies.


In March 2006 at 12300 hours: 

- NEW CAT fuel injection pump was installed.

- Caterpillar dealer rebearinged and resealed torque converter.

- Caterpillar dealer rebearinged and resealed transmission.

- Caterpillar dealer rebearinged and resealed both final drives.


In April 2005 at 9900 hours:  

- NEW pins and bearings in hard nose.


All records and oil samples are available.

This unit has been sandblasted, primed, painted and detailed.

This is an excellent tractor that is ready to work.
