CAT 740 ARTICULATED TRUCK - 40 TON (2003) - Unit #T9737

Upon arrival to our yard this truck was powerwashed, serviced and checked over.

Engine oil filter was cut open and checked for contaminates and it was nice and clean.

Transmission filter and suction strainer were also checked and were clean.

Hydraulic filters were also clean.

All three differentials and six final drive oil levels were good and oils were clean.

Following are repairs completed by Marcel Equipment Limited at 8016 hours:

Engine high idle speed was checked and is within Caterpillar specifications.

Checked pressures in accumulators.

A NEW seal was installed on the center differential output shaft.

NEW pinion seal installed on the rear differential.

Resealed the transmission pump.

NEW pins and bearings installed on the articulation.

Installed a NEW hydraulic hoist pump.

Resealed left steering cylinder.

Installed a NEW front differential pinion seal.

Installed a NEW master switch.

Checked all lights, wipers, etc. for proper operation.

Load tested the batteries and they were good.

Installed a NEW radiator cap.

Installed a NEW backup alarm.

This is a good unit that is ready to go.
