When this D8T LGP WH Dozer arrived in yard, MEL had our local CAT dealer, Toromont CAT, complete the following at 6,510 Hrs:

• Strip all Belly pans, covers and panels from machine for power washing
• Completed CAT TA 1 Plus inspection
• Update ECM flash files
• Changed and Cut open all Oil filters & inspected for contaminates - all clean
• Service emissions system for servicing
• Inspect magnetic plugs/screens & suction screens - all clean
• changed fuel tank breather and cleaned filler screen
• changed transmission and hydraulic breathers
• changed all air filters and cab filters
• Serviced engine
• Check oil levels
• Inspect oils for discoloration
• Check for logged & active codes & repair
• Check for applicable service letters
• Changed engine, transmission, hydraulic and final drive oils

Completed the following pressure checks to ensure within OEM spec:

• Fan pressure & speed - completed fan calibrations.
• Engine RPM high & low idle
• Engine oil high & low idle pressures
• Fuel pressure checks
• Transmission and Torque convertor checks
• Torque convertor stall speed
• Full stall boost - Full stall speed
• All Steering system checks
• Brake pressure checks

Based on the CAT dealer inspection, CAT Tech and Marcel Tech completed the following repairs:

• Removed ARD Head, cleaned and installed NEW ARD spark plug
• Repaired exhaust leaks
• Replaced failed Nox sensor.
• Replaced or cleaned all EGR Sensors
• Ran all needed emissions tests
• Removed Doc and DPF Filter for cleaning
• Replaced all clamps on CEM unit and cleaned
• Replaced battery power cable and cleaned all frame grounds
• Serviced electrical junction box
• Replaced all worn, leaking, hydraulic and steering lines
• Replaced all worn, leaking, fuel lines
• Replaced lower rad hose and
• drain taps - replaced coolant
• Replaced leaking heater taps
• Installed Rebuilt Starter
• Installed Rebuilt Alternator
• Repaired Cab electrical wiring
• Repaired work lights and wiring
• Repaired Cab doors and latches
• Completed Valve set and Resealed leaking Valve covers
• Installed Rebuilt Turbo
• Replaced Complete Undercarriage
• Removed Track Frames from machine
• Replaced both cannon seals and sleeves
• Replaced Pivot shaft seals
• Replaced Final drive Duo Cones and Duo Cone guards
• Removed Hardbar machined and installed NEW bushings
• Assembled Track frames with NEW components
• Installed NEW CAT Track Groups with 38" Track Shoes
• Rebuilt seat suspension
• Replaced A/C Dryer, A/C accumulator

Marcel Equipment completed the following repairs:

• Completed required cosmetic & welding repairs
• Completed required blade repairs
• Replaced worn blade pins & bushings
• Line bored blade joints where required
• Prepped machine for sandblasting & painting
• Sandblasted, primed, painted, NEW decals and detailed machine
• Assembled machine once completed
• Greased machine
